BuzzFlash Recommendation:

See the Web site for the film.

BuzzFlash Exclusive Offer

BuzzFlash is proud to be the exclusive outlet, at this time, for a

searingly insightful documentary on the political threat posed by a

corporate media aligned with a radical right wing White House. " Orwell

Rolls in His Grave " is all the more remarkable because it was

directed, financed, produced, edited and narrated by one man: Robert

Kane Pappas.

Pappas, on a bare bones budget, assembles the " A-team " roster of media

critics and then weaves their comments together with music,

reflections, documentary footage and titling that keeps you mesmerized

with its brilliant insight.

BuzzFlash first saw a cut of " Orwell Rolls " at a media reform

conference in Madison last winter. We were looking for something to

" fill a hole " in our schedule and found a documentary on the media

that was playing at noon. We went in expecting to pass the time. We

left dazzled, disturbed and slack-jawed in admiration of how Pappas

had creatively distilled the grave threat of the mass corporate media

into a film that is riveting.

No, on a low budget, this film is not a technological dazzler, which

makes it all the more amazing. It informs without being didactic; it

is compelling without being preachy. It is the story about the media

that the media will never report.

" Orwell Rolls in his Grave " proves beyond a reasonable doubt that the

oft-used BuzzFlash claim that we have entered into an Orwellian

parallel universe, with the arrival of the radical right wing

Republican Party in full power, is true and accurate.

Michael Moore's new film will no doubt overshadow " Orwell Rolls in his

Grave. " That's okay with Pappas (Moore appears in the film and Pappas

admires him dearly), but it would be nice if this tour de force of a

documentary on the mass media was seen by the masses. Right now, it is

rolling out with extremely limited movie theater showings.

We are exclusively offering " Orwell Rolls in his Grave " on DVD in an

effort to stimulate a grassroots demand for the film. You can bet the

media won't be promoting this documentary. After you view it, you'll

know why.

This is a must see, a wake-up call to America that we have already

entered an Orwellian world when history, context, and language are

redefined daily by the government, as the media broadcasts the new

version of the truth without question. Every news cycle starts with a

clean slate for the White House " Ministry of Truth " to write on.

See this film.
