National Health Freedom Coaltion is hosting a historic

gathering of national and international experts on

CODEX at its 2nd Annual National Conference for Health

Freedom Advocates to be held in St. Paul Minnesota,

September 10 – 12, 2004.

The CODEX session is a special Post-Conference

gathering of leaders on September 12 to examine the

issues surrounding CODEX and its impact on Americans’

access to the health and healing products and services

of their choice.

National Health Freedom Coalition is working to ensure

access to all health care information, services,

treatments and products that the people deem

beneficial for their own health, healing, wellbeing

and survival. Diane Miller, Director of Legal and

Public Policy for NHFC, has observed the recent CODEX

meeting in Geneva, Switzerland, and comments, “We want

to preserve natural substances and dietary supplements

and keep them in the public domain with the burden of

proof on government to show harm before they are not

accessible.”

Leaders participating in the Round Table on CODEX

include the following:

James Turner, Attorney President, Citizens for Health

David Hinde, Solicitor Alliance for Natural Health,

London

Suzanne Harris, Attorney Freedom Advocate on Codex

John Hammel, Advocate Int’l Advocates for Health

Freedom

James Gormley, Advisor Nutrition 21

Diane Miller, Attorney National Health Freedom

Coalition

Linda Lazarus, Attorney Washington, DC

Trueman Tuck, Coordinator Friends of Health Freedom,

Canada

The CODEX Roundtable is in conjunction with the larger

Health Freedom Conference Sept 10 – 12 which deals

with many aspects of health freedom, including

practitioner rights to practice and the Dietary

Supplement Act. To register: Go to

www.nationalhealthfreedom.org or call Jerri at

651-688-6515. The Post-conference session on CODEX is

September 12 from 1 – 4 and is free and open to the

public.
