HE SUCCESS OF FAILURE

TURNING THE TABLES AT THE RNC

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then

quit.

There's no point in being a damn fool about it: W. C.

Fields

GEORGE W. BUSH IS THE MAN WHO FAILED TO PROTECT

US FROM THE WORST ATTACK ON AMERICAN SOIL IN ITS

HISTORY!

You might have thought they were regaling King Arthur.

But they weren’t. You might have thought they were

recounting the exploits of Alexander the Great. But

they weren’t. You might have thought they were

extolling the virtues of an immensely successful world

leader. But they weren’t. They were the RNC,

cheer-leading for their idol, George W. Bush, - a man

whose policies have been the most dismal failures in

recent history.

On the first day of the Convention, speaker after

speaker stepped to the rostrum to rave about George

Bush, Superman, and George Bush, Hercules They lined

up with practiced enthusiasm to kneel at the image of

George, Bush, statesman and George Bush, Savior.

Icons from among the party faithful came to convince

the nation that their toad was really a prince. Their

carefully scripted message was as transparent as it

was ludicrous: George Bush, the failure, was being

creatively morphed into George Bush, the magnificent

success!

There was something surreal about John McCain heaping

praise after praise upon the man who had dealt him and

his family such underhanded blows in the 2000

primaries. There was something ludicrous about Rudy

Guiliani, a supporter of choice, gay rights and gun

control, reminding Americans of their great fortune in

having George Bush as President when New Yorkers were

jumping to their deaths on the morning of September

11th .And there was something farcical about George W.

Bush being compared to such great men as Washington,

Lincoln, Roosevelt and Churchill. No matter, they did

it.

And, of course, there was Governor Arnie, with a

lesson for America on what it means to be a

Republican. Did anyone say warmonger or war

profiteer? Did anyone say homophobe or polluter? Did

anyone say hypocrite or slanderer? But style is

style, and Arnie transmuted the failures of George

Bush into successes that never were. No matter, he did

it, and the crowd went wild.

Then along came Dick, to do what he does best: attack

and destroy. With practiced disrespect and disdain,

Dick Cheney managed skillfully to vilify John Kerry

and pulverize his lifetime of public service to

smithereens. Did anyone say: where were you and George

when John Kerry was in Vietnam? Did anyone say:

Halliburton or Harken? No matter, it’s all in the

eyes of the beholder. Failure is successful if know

one knows.

And finally, the RNC awaited its hero. With script

ready, and smile rehearsed, George W. Bush became the

nominee of the Grand Old Party, and all was well with

the world. No matter that the nation was reeling, and

the world was in disarray. No matter that this man

had failed to fulfill a single campaign promise to

anyone but his rich supporters. No matter that this

man had so totally failed the people of this country.

No matter that there was not a single success to which

he could truthfully point with a sense pride and

accomplishment. No matter, because George Bush was

packaged as the greatest asset to America since

buttered toast. George Bush, the failure, had tasted

the success of his failure, and asked for four more

years of the same. No matter that he deserves to be

booted out by a landslide. No matter, because Karl

Rove knows what to do with smoke and mirrors, and he

does it well.

And of course, there’s the media, always in the

background, but also in the picture. During this

Convention Week, the corporate media could be seen

drooling in their collective support of the speakers

at the RNC. They systematically fed the transformation

of George Bush to the public via their newly energized

Viagara journalism. In covering the RNC, the

television media, in particular, worked diligently to

help the GOP change a floundering president who has

been totally impotent and unresponsive into stalwart

leader who is firm and unyielding. Let’s hear the

applause.

But, as we are being told that George W. Bush is the

Great War President, the Great Leader, and the Great

Protector of our safety, let’s take a moment for a

wake up call to remember the facts rather than the

fiction:

*

The attacks of September 11th occurred under the

watch of George W. Bush.

http://www.tvnewslies.org/html/bush_failed_us_on_9_11.html

*

George W. Bush knew that Al Qaeda had plans for

an attack within the US.

http://www.tvnewslies.org/html/9_11_warnings.html

*

George W. Bush knew that Al Qaeda considered the

use of airplanes as missiles to be flown into public

buildings within the US.

*

George W. Bush did NOT take charge of our safety

when he was told the US was under attack. He sat in a

schoolroom, unable to act.

http://www.tvnewslies.org/html/the_oj_response.html

*

The perpetrators of the attacks have not been

captured or brought to justice.

*

The resources of the nation have been diverted

into a war against Iraq, a nation that was neither

responsible nor involved in the attacks.

*

The resources that might have brought stability

to Afghanistan were squandered in an illegal and

immoral invasion and occupation of Iraq.

*

The lives and limbs of nearly 1000 American

soldiers and more than a hundred from coalition

countries have been sacrificed in a senseless and

endless war.

*

Billions of American tax dollars are unaccounted

for in Iraq.

*

The lives of thousands of Iraqi civilians were

sacrificed in a senseless war that has made no one

safer, anywhere.

*

Americans are far more vulnerable to attacks now

than before the invasion of Iraq.

*

Americans are far more hated and feared around

the world than before the invasion of Iraq.

*

George Bush, Dick Cheney and their supporters

have profited handily from the war against Iraq.

http://www.tvnewslies.org/html/kept_promises.html

*

George Bush and other representatives of the US

are no longer welcome in any major nation in the

entire world.

Never mind, for the moment, the failed domestic

policies that characterize the four years of the Bush

presidency. Focus only on the theme of the RNC:

George Bush – the man who will save us from

terrorists! Focus only on some inane, non-existent

connection between 9/11 and the image of George Bush,

successful leader – to be adored and thanked by a

grateful public. Who are they kidding?

Are the media convinced that we are all idiots? Are

they convinced that we all have fallen in love with

our abuser? Do the media think that we will not

remember the record of the man being nominated at the

RNC? There is one underlying, undeniable truth that

negates everything being said at the Convention:

GEORGE W. BUSH IS THE MAN WHO FAILED TO PROTECT US

FROM THE WORST ATTACK ON AMERICAN SOIL IN ITS HISTORY!

Only two questions remain: Are the media insane for

trying to sell us the image of George Bush as the man

who led us through the darkness of September 11th, or

is a frighteningly large segment of the public insane

for buying it? The success of George Bush’s failure

has become the subliminal theme of the GOP Convention,

and with the help of the media it will be deeply

implanted in the minds of the voters.

The moral remains: The BIG LIE works. Who will expose

it when the media is complicit in promoting it? These

are frightening times. These are frightening lies.

But, if well orchestrated, FAILURE - in the mind of

the undecided voters - can appear to be SUCCESS. There

are only two months left to undo the damage. Go for

it.

Inferior Right Angles - The Empty Argument of

Bush Supporters. - I am not suggesting that this means

that the left is correct and the right is wrong about

any issue under discussion. What I am suggesting is

that there seems to be no foundation on which the

right can build a case for supporting the President’s

policies. The people on the right seem to be at a

loss for any concrete reasons for their opinions.

Statement by Michael Ruppert' - I will name

Richard Cheney as the prime suspect in the mass

murders of 9/11 and will establish that, not only was

he a planner in the attacks, but also that on the day

of the attacks he was running a completely separate

Command, Control and Communications system which was

superceding any orders being issued by the NMCC

[National Military Command Center], or the White House

Situation Room. Click here for more information and to
