Numerous rs have already ordered it since its introduction. We want to build on your lively interest and many positive suggestions so as to continually improve and further develop our information service on cellular health, the scientific findings of Cellular Medicine, alternative therapies and their medical bases, but also on health policy and the stepping up of the worldwide confrontation with the pharmaceutical industry. Many of you took part in the questionnaire to evaluate our internet site (http://www.drrath.com). Many thanks for that! We received numerous suggestions and ideas, which we will try to implement wherever possible. But we also received many questions. Since the questionnaire was anonymous, we cannot of course answer such questions in direct personal dialogue - but we still owe you a reply. We have therefore selected the questions most frequently posed and compiled them as a question-and-answer sheet. We hope that this will clear up the most urgent questions. But we also want direct dialogue with you. If, therefore, there are comments, wishes, or ideas you wish to convey to us in person, please use the e-mail address info. The most common questions 1. Is there any collaboration between Dr. Rath and mainstream doctors? " I reach out my hand to you. We are ready for open dialogue, whenever and wherever you wish " . This is the offer which Dr. Matthias Rath made to all mainstream doctors on 5 May at Münster-Hiltrup town hall. Mainstream medicine, at least at the scientific and institutional level, has so far shown little willingness to engage in cooperation. It is true that registered doctors are increasingly resorting to alternative therapies for their patients, and that the German medical council also seems to be growing more receptive to this question. Its central organ (Deutsches Ärzteblatt [German medical journal], dated 7.5.2004) has, for instance, reported on a working group that was set up in the autumn of 2000 to promote dialogue between mainstream medicine and the representatives of so-called " complementary therapies " . The aim of this was to turn the " doctrinal war " between different " schools " of medicine into sober, serious discussion. However, in view of the repeated attempts to discredit Cellular Medicine, willingness for dialogue does not seem to have made much progress. Dr. Rath, when will you begin to publish open letters in the British press? We have already begun to do so. The latest open letter was published on 18 August 2003 in " The Independent " . Can you set up an interactive data bank showing the recommended cellular nutrient combinations in response to patients' descriptions of their illness? The course of every illness is as unique as the human being affected by it. That is why distance diagnoses on the internet are as impossible as precise recommendations of active ingredient compounds at the touch of a button. In the case of illness a doctor should always be consulted initially, for only your GP can make diagnoses, suggest treatment or possibly refer you to a specialist. However, you should also talk to your doctor about the possibility of using cellular nutrients to improve your health. There is also a legal problem. While the positive effects of cellular nutrients are known to us through the intensive research programme at our institute in Santa Clara (California, USA), the law does not allow us to issue cellular nutrient recommendations for treating illness. How often does RATH international appear? The magazine " Rath international " comes out each month - except for one to two double issues, for instance during the main holiday periods. There are 10 issues per annum, published in German, Dutch, English and French. Some in the media repeatedly claim that the positive effects of cellular nutrients have not been scientifically validated. Are there studies which disprove this? Where can one read such studies? Numerous scientific studies prove the efficacy of cellular nutrients. Extensive documentation can be downloaded from the Dr. Rath Health Foundation website. As is normal in the scientific community, however, many of these studies are written in English. You can find them at the link: http://www4.dr-rath-foundation.org/NHC/researcharchive.html Where can one read information about the close links between politics and the pharmaceutical industry? On the web pages of the Dr. Rath Health Foundation, under the heading " other news " , you will find numerous links that lead to articles giving fuller insight into issues relating to " politics and health " . Type in the following link on the address line of your browser, or click on: http://www4.dr-rath-foundation.org/THE_FOUNDATION/News/2004/other_news/index.htm You are represented in Europe, Africa and North America. What is the situation in Latin America? I would really like to help you in Mexico. Latin America is covered by our colleagues in the USA. We intend increasing our presence in this region in future.
