Bush tort reform: Protects all FDA drugs and devices

HAs anyone heard anything about this:

 

" By the way, did you see in today's newspaper that President Bush, in his

push toward tort reform, is moving to make it impossible to sue for any

damage caused by any drug (or device) that is approved by the FDA? (Which

means, of course, ALL drugs...) In other words, not only can a person be

made by the medical business into a vegetable or lifetime sufferer, but now

there will be no legal recourse. A win was just had in the Federal Appeals

Court in Philadelphia, ominously. The argument approved, horrendously,

went like this: " Allowing consumers to sue manufacturers would 'undermine

public health' and interfere with federal regulation of drugs and devices

by encouraging 'lay judges and juries to second guess' experts at the

FDA... " Police State, it is here. This is really chilling news. Next I

can see that all the practices of allopathy, such as surgery, etc., will be

untouchable by law. "
