Guest guest
I am educating myself on this subject as my brother has it and is on medication and it is making him sick. He is coming to live with me and I want to correct his diet. Along with what I have found pertaining to getting oils from his diet except flax seed oil for instance, I need a good menu to follow as I am getting confused as to the tables I have found about substituting a food for another.......I need it the easiest possible as dealing with him and changing his diet will be difficult enough. Guest guest
I have several good friends with Diabetes. What regimens have members found that have obviously helped them in intervention and treatment. All comments appreciated.
Guest guest
I am a type II also. My HBA1C stays well within in the normal range. I use 1/4 tsp of cinnamon in the mornings as well as 200mgs of chromium during the day. Probably the most significant thing I do to keep my glucose stable is walk 3 miles a day, eat a high fiber diet, and foods low on the glycemic index. If your friends are not already doing so, they can get extra fiber from the many fiber products on the market such as psyllium seeds, fibercon, etc. Fiber helps slow down the break down of carbs in the digestive tract therefore reducing the speed glucose is absorbed. , " Jim " <huuman60 wrote: > > I have several good friends with Diabetes.
