Guest guest
Hello! For the last 8 years I have asked my doctors to run the TSH test to see if I have a thyroid problem and I always here that I am " within the normal range " . I have symptoms such as morning basal temps in the 96's, messed up cysles, etc. My father needed his thyroid removed when he was only 49. I saw my family doc on Tuesday and he doctor confirmed on Tuesday that my thyroid was enlarged. This is after 2 miscarraiges and 2 years of significant exercise and I have maintained a weight loss of 30 pounds (which takes a tremendous effort still to maintain). I am 34 and this time I finally asked for the test result number. She told me 1.05 and that .40 to 5.00 was normal. Again I heard that I am " normal " . I want to pursue this further and any advice would be appreciated. I have read about the Wilson Thyroid syndrome which may be a match for me and I have read that Armour can be more effective than synthroid. What can I do or what has to happen for me to get help? Sincerely, Peg
