FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Free Video CD and Videotape Help Release Stress and Activate

Untapped Energy for Practioners of All Ages and Physical

Conditions

Toronto, Canada, -- Subtle energy Chi Kung (Qigong) Master,

Wing Cheung, of Toronto Canada, presents a new Video CD and

VHS videotape, free upon request, demonstrating the energy

art of Tai Chi Qigong (Chi Kung) Shibashi, a simple yet very

subtle energy practice most anyone is capable of doing,

including elderly, disabled and young people

Sifu ( " Master " or " wiser brother " in Chinese) Cheung, a

practitioner of tai chi since the age of six, says he wants

to demystify and disseminate these ancient health and

healing exercises broadly to the public so that anyone and

everyone may benefit from the life enhancing gifts Qigong

Shibashi can bring to practitioners, whatever their

lifestyle. Master Cheung intends to make qigong (sometimes

written as " chi kung " ) as ubiquitous as aerobics has become

for the general public, beginning with this offering of his

top quality Video CD (VCD), viewable on any CD-capable or

DVD player, free to the public upon request.

The various moves of Qigong Shibashi bring meaningful

improvements to personal health regardless of one's

condition, and the simplicity of the moves make them both

easy to do and easy to remember. Qigong Shibashi is a

gentle, beautiful and flowing qigong exercise routine that

is both a joy to do and deeply relaxing, designed to improve

the general health and wellbeing of the practitioner.

Master Cheung's 18 qigong shibashi exercises work well to

reduce mental stress and physical tension held in muscles,

joints and organs, and has been used effectively as

longevity exercises for thousands of years.

Sifu Cheung finds the extraordinary costs charged by many

tai chi and qigong instructors in North America to be

outrageous and indicates an imbalance of greed on the part

of the instructors, which prompted Sifu Cheung to offer the

public his free video CD, for viewers to learn for

themselves the simple yet effective movements of qigong

shibashi, as a goodwill effort for the wellbeing of

everyone. CD and videotape viewers will find the movements

and instructions easy to understand in plain English, and

each comes with written instructions and illustrations

covering abdominal breathing and proper movement for each

easy to do exercise.

Master Cheung began his martial and energy arts training at

an early age, starting with learning northern Shaolin kung

fu from his father, a Grandmaster of kung fu and tai chi,

and winner of the Canton Province Kick Boxing Championship

in 1969. Master Cheung began healing instruction in 1994

from the famous Qigong healer Wu Jian Hua, Professor

Emeritus of the Qigong Research Institute in China, where he

learned acupressure, traditional Chinese medical theories

and practices along with different styles of qigong under

Master Wu, chief qigong instructor at the Institute. Master

Cheung has since continued his instructional practice

focusing solely on Qigong and Tai Chi for students of all

ages, of all variations of experience, both new learners and

seasoned practitioners.

" Qigong shibashi enhances every person's health, wellbeing,

and personal effectiveness and makes the transition into old

age a smoother and more vitally effective transition " , says

Master Cheung. The gentle rocking motions and stretching

movements demonstrated in the video improve circulation and

digestion while the chest exercises and controlled breathing

are good for lung conditions and asthma. " Qigong may have

been discovered and cultivated in China, though it is a gift

for all of humanity and works regardless of beliefs or

culture. In this spirit I offer my video CD free to anyone

in the world to tap their human potential in every way they

can, " Master Cheung adds.

Healing oneself and enhancing personal energy and mental

clarity are meaningful outcomes to those who practice the 18

movements demonstrated on the CD and videotape along with

greater contentment and becoming more personally effective

in their daily endeavors and personal challenges. " All 18

movements are very easy to do, I have never had any students

who have problem doing these 18 movements " , says Wing

Cheung. The CD and VHS tape, available in NTSC, PAL and

SECAM formats, are designed for everyone in any level of

experience, elderly and disabled people are especially

grateful that the 18 moves are simple and easy to remember,

and for the greater ease of the shibashi movements in

contrast to more strenuous movements and postures of some

other tai chi and yoga practices.

" Traditional medicine " , while befuddled as to how qigong

works, has increasingly come to accept the effectiveness of

natural healing and Chinese energy practices such as qigong

and tai chi, acupuncture and acupressure, which are more

commonly becoming accepted as both preventative and curative

modalities with insurance plans. This medical acceptance is

increasing as the evidence keeps coming that even

conventionall Western medicine can be greatly enhanced with

the inclusion of these ancient energy practices which have

been proven effective with emperical evidence proven over

many centuries. Qigong shibashi, as a healing modality and

as a preventative of diseases, works as a balsam to physical

and psychic disabilities, and shibashi qigong can also

bolster the immune system and ease the ailments of growing

older, of aging.

Sifu Wing Cheung resides in Toronto, Canada, and fulfills

instruction opportunities around the world to students of

every realm of experience and physical condition, often

relieving the pains and discomforts of diseases and

facilitating the healing process through qigong shibashi

instruction
