Guest guest
What kind of ulcer is it? Is it a varicose ulcer? Sounds like it very well could be. How deep/wide is it? If in fact it is or isen't the following may help and can't hurt 1000-1200 mg Vitamin c divided into 10-12 doses(water soluable) taken with 8oz water to help heal. Vitamin e 400-800 units twice a day to help heal. Raw garlic clove peeled/minced 1-3 times a day. Do not mince until ready to ingest garlic has antibiotic properties which deplete quickly once it is crushed/minced. Cover area with some type of non stick dressing then cover with an ace bandage wrapped snug but not tight, when you have to be out and about. This will help with swelling if theres any and protect the area against infection. When home remove dressings, elevate leg under a light six to twelve inches away from affected area. Honey is another infection fighter which could be applied directly to the wound or if you have a quack tell him you want a prescription for silvadene creme. I learned about the wonders of silvadene after watching a family member stay on anti-biotics for two years, during which time the condition only worsened, clear to the shin bone in some places. The quack knew about it all along but for some reason woulden't prescribe it until demanded, it worked wonders. There may be a natural alternative for this stuff but I'm not aware of one. Almost forgot try to eliminate any and all sugars and refined foods, artificial anything. hope this helps and hope your feeling better ;>) O.
