Guest guest
Hello, I've been searching around for cures to my palmar hyperhidrosis problem(severe sweating of the hands and feet). I've tried estrogen which made me dizzy and seeing as how I'm a young woman I got a little worried about getting cancer so I stopped. I've considered the surgery(ETS), but I saw the surgery and got completely horrified plus many post-ops complain about severe CS (compensatory sweating-in other areas). They clamp or cut the nerve which makes the sweat glands function or malfunction in my case, but the risk factor and the fact that the sweat travels to a different part of the body turns me off almost completely. I was on an ETS forum and one of the guys mentioned that acupuncture and chinese herbs helped to almost diminish his hyperhidrosis, which he got treatment at a local acupuncture school for a good price. It's not just a case of sweating when you're nervous, when you have hyperhidrosis the selected area sweats continuously all day! Gross!!! I just need a little advice because it's very hard to deal with it. The simple things in life are like pulling teeth such as shaking someones hands or god forbid, trying to get intimate with someone. ANY ADVICE WOULD BE IMMENSELY APPRECIATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All of my blood work says that I'm healthy, but I always feel fatigued, irritated, I smoke cigarettes like a chimney, and I drink like a fish, yet they have the nerve to say I'm healthy! I've been to dermatologist who were useless and please don't think that it's because of those bad habits I listed above, though I'm sure that they don't help, but I've had this problem since I was 11 years old! If a nutritionist could please set me up with some type of regimen I'd be willing to pay for any help. Thanks for reading this post!
Guest guest
Try minerals, especially take a daily supplement of magnesium. The problem should clear up in a short time.
