Are Americans being sold a bill of goods by a handful of transnational media corporations and political elites whose interests have little in common with the interests of the American people? Orwell Rolls in his Grave explores what the media doesn't like to talk about -- itself. Filmmaker Robert Kane Pappas has brought together an ex- " 60-minutes " Producer, a United States Congressman, as well as some of the country's leading intellectual voices on the media to examine the mix of business, politics and ideology that is the modern mainstream media. Does the corporate media reflect the public opinion or create it? Did the media help George Bush steal the presidency and market the Iraq war? Orwell Rolls in His Grave reminds all of us that 1984 is no longer a date in the future. Media not only supported Bush, it whole-cloth created him. Bush is a media puppet. Media create and promote puppets like Bush, engineer and promote their campaigns, and orchestrate wins for them; so that that these so-called Presidents can, then, serve the interests of the media bosses. That's precisely what Bush is doing; traveling frantically all over the country, raising as much money as he can, to pay for the staggering cost of media political ads, for him, and all the other puppets in his adminstration.
