Guest guest
Hi! Obtaining pain relief via acupuncture is an option worth looking into. Tens machines interfere with the pain signal, too. A supply shop in my city has a website: www.ycyhealth.com I have one of their electric acupuncture machines, and it has a " point detector instrument " for foolproof location of acupuncture points. The shop has Tens machines too, and these can be worn, for ongoing pain management. If you're in the U.S., your money goes further here in Canada. I would suggest consulting a acupuncturist, and maybe you can manage both professional and self-treatment. I do some self-treatment (with a laser), when I need it, and was grateful to have my naturopath suggest some additional acupuncture points. It's important not to use the same points all the time, for pain management. A professional can work out a treatment plan for you. I must say I don't know what the condition is you're describing. Is this neuropathy? I have known some guys with neuropathy (caused by prescription drugs), who were prescribed drugs to treat the pain, whose side-effects were also neuropathy. I never have understood that rationale. Pain, of course, is a symptom. You'll naturally want to investigate the cause. Wishing you success!
