Guest guest
http://www.bushlies.com/newlies.php New lies New Lies Become Old Lies... After THE LIES OF GEORGE W. BUSH was published in October 2003, this section tracked the subsequent lies, false statements and misleading assertions that came out of the Bush administration. At the time, few journalists or organizations were monitoring Bush and the White House in this fashion. But soon afterward, spotting Bush's lies and falsehoods became something of a growth industry. Misleader.org was set up by MoveOn.org, and it has put out a daily e-newsletter challenging Bush's veracity. The Center for American Progress, a new liberal think tank, created a " Claims vs. Facts " database that logs misleading or untrue statements from Bush and other conservatives. Both of these outfits are, of course, archly partisan. But their researchers try to be straight, and usually they are. (Sometimes they stretch a point, but, then, conservative critics of THE LIES OF GEORGE W. BUSH have accused its author of doing the same.) Citizens who want to keep up to date on Bush's latest prevarications should check out these sites. But they also ought to visit David Corn's new blog, which is starting up on this website. In this blog, Corn will continue to chronicle Bush's war on the truth, and he will comment and report on various matters of war, politics and culture.
