The House of Representatives recently cut funds for the most provocative programs to develop new kinds of nuclear weapons. Now the Senate is debating whether to approve funding for these same programs. Please write your senators and tell them to stop the Bush administration's reckless drive for new nuclear weapons. Read the Letter: Your U.S. Senators Dear Senator, When you consider the Energy and Water Appropriations Bill for Fiscal Year 2005, I urge you to eliminate funds for the most provocative programs in the president's proposed nuclear weapons budget: the Robust Nuclear Earth Penetrator, Advanced Concepts research, the Modern Pit Facility, and enhanced test readiness.
