Cooking quinoa

The box says cook for 10mins in twice its volume of water and leave

thereafter to absorb remaining water. When I have done this I ended up

burning the quinoa, because the water evaporates off. I have used the

smallest pan that I have. If I use more water the quinoa does not separate

well. Any guidance on cooking it?

 

Quinoa is a bit bland to eat. How do others liven it up in a healthy

manner.
