If you will apply vitamin E continuously over the burned area (just

open a gelatin capsule and apply ) and take quite a bit of vitamin E

and large doses of Vitamin C orally ( as well as liberal amounts of

all the essential nutrients, but especially E and C) it will speed

the healing. To rebuild tissue these are the main ones.

My wife once burned her hand very badly on a hot glass baking dish.

The hand turned a fiery red and it was very painfull. She immediately

put the hand in cold water with vitamin C and water soluable vitamin

E. She took a lot of C and E by mouth. She continued to soak the hand

and within an hour the red had started to leave her hand. The pain

went away and within a short time the hand was like new with no pain,

no scarring, and no sign that it had even been burned.

This remedy is used in most of the older books on nutrition, but with

the advent of many products on the market, it seems to have lost out

in people's minds and been replaced with what ever ad they have

recently read.

I keep a bottle of Swedish Bitters on hand for burns. I have never heard it

recommended for burns, but I find even extreme scalding (touching an iron pot

that was heated to 350 degrees in the oven!) is relieved instantaneously by this

stuff. I not only am spared pain, I am spared even redness and swelling. I

have no idea why. I used this product once in desperation (not having my usual

aloe vera-honey-etc. remedies on hand) and would never have used it had I

considered the fact that it has alcohol in it, but I was too frightened at the

time to consider anything in a rational way. For which I'm grateful. I've

never been without it since.

If you have aloe or vitamin E capsules, (just puncture the capsule and

squeeze it out) I think either would help.........Personally, I use the Vit

E and swab it on as soon as it is burned and seldom do I have a blister.

Hope this helps.......

Folks about here, and my granny used to use, savila (aloe vera). Break off a

limb and rub the inner gel on the burns. Its very soothing too.

Try Vitamin E capsul broken and applied over the burn, and aloe vera fron
