of meeting Graeme in Australia, through whom I came to know about the

book, " The Saccharine Diet. " Had I not been on this board, it is

reasonable to say that might never have occurred.

 

Thanks for allowing conversation to happen on the board. If you do

decide to make the board into a " read only " one, as you have said you

might, I hope we will at least still be able to send emails to any

person of whom we'd like to ask a question.

 

I understand that you have been troubled by all kinds of unwanted

emails from people making demands and asking unwanted questions.

Perhaps you could set up an auto-message that goes out to any new

members explaining what your policy is with regard to members'

personal and particular desires, needs, wants, ambitions, agendas,

etc., i.e. this is your board; you do what seems good to you, and if

they become unhappy with that, they are free to leave and start their

own board. Maybe that would head off problematic emails and questions

before they begin...?

 

Or you might add such information to the home page, and send an email

to any new members directing them to read the home page before they

post anything to the board.

 

Just a thought or two...
