I have just sent a letter from my wife and me.

 

Tobacco/nicotine got taken off the controlled substance list through

just such an underhanded manuever as the one described in your post.

 

I recently posted here the unsatisfactory response I got from my

representative Ray LaHood with regard to the regulation and

restriction of dietary supplements.

 

To me, what it boils down to is money and power. The Big Drug

Companies have far more power and far better organization than the

supplement companies, and they want ever more and more money, so

they're out to squeeze and shackle those companies selling

supplements as hard as they can.

 

It's got nothing to do with " public safety. " If the government was

interested in public safety, they'd properly regulate food, not

supplements.
