I fear a great many more.

Both are in their mid or even possibly early forties.

She has smoked for decades, and recently had a stint put into one of

her arteries. She has also had what appears to be pre-cancerous fluid

drawn off of her lungs. It's actually kind of hard to tell how old

she is because of how ravaged her body, hair, eyes and skin look, but

because the couple has an 18-year-old son, I think they are in their

forties.

He has a large pot belly, and was recently diagnosed with

diverticulitis, which the doctors say will have to be operated on

because it is " too far gone. " They say he may already have a little

peritonitis, or that he is very close to it. He has had a couple of

severe bouts of terrible pain, vomiting, fever, chills and sweats. He

also appears older than I believe he is.

Aside from their physical misery, the wife has told me they can't pay

all the medical bills, so are receiving dunning calls from lawyers

and collection agencies.

Two people who could have easily had another two or three decades of

health, happiness and productivity, down for the count. It didn't

have to be. It's criminal. It's crazy. It's a crying shame.

I agree 100%! And the sad part is that people accept this as being a

normal part of the aging process. I say HOGWASH to that! I am 44

years young and have never felt better in my life. I eat well, detox,

exercise, meditate, take my supplements and sleep well. What a shame

that more people do not realize that by taking these measures, they

too could look and feel as good as I do in my mid 40's.
