Dear Group,

We have posted about 22,000 articles.

We have about 1800 members. We get about 100 coming and going each

month. They come for many diffeent reasons. They all have unique

viewpoints and expectations.

Unfortunately some of them think that the group should be ran more in

accordance with what they think it should be.

I get letters complaining about the messages subjects. The areas

covered and not covered. Posting restrictions, etc.. How they

personally view and judge my views on religion, politics, my

personality, my mind, my intent, the way that I dress, comb my hair,

etc.

I will try and address all of these concerns here.

Basically, if you are unhappy with this group, please leave and find

one more in line with what you want. I am not trying to be harsh,

just direct. I am not going to change to please you. I doubt if you

are willing to change to please me either.

What I am considering is to convert this newsletter to a read only

type newsletter. That should put an end to the expectations that many

seem to bring here. It will then be on a more " want/ " or

a " don't like/ " basis rather than a " I want you to change

it " basis.

This group and it's posting was never meant to be all things to all

people.

Thank you for all the wonderful useful information. I am extremely

grateful for all your time and energy and forward your stuff to many friends.

Please ignore all criticism: it is the nature of life that people just cannot

help trying to be in control. I would not object to " read only, " just please do

not stop with the education.

Kim, that is news to me about the delete button. As far as I know,

the only posts one can delete on a board are one's own. I have

very occasionally wished there was an " ignore " button, but there is

not one of those, either.

I have extraordinarily few problems with posts on this board, though.

It's a fine one!

I think he would mean the delete button on his pc as he reads this group

as individual emails, as I do.
