I had these symptoms about two years ago. My doctor diagnosed it as Carpel

Tunnel syndrome

and gave me a cortisone injection. The injection didn't really help.....

I was feeling tired one day and I took an iron supplement which I use

occasionally.

A few days on this and the buzzing and numbness disappeared. When it returned

again a few months later I used the same remedy and it hasn't returned since.

The iron supplement contains the whole B complex

Hope this helps

Dear Frank,

Any ideas as to how to stop the buzz- numbing effect of the

mouse on my hand when I'm on the computer? Also, I feel a buzz in my hand

when using the remote control that comes with the TV. I don't have

carpel -tunnel yet, but it makes me wonder...NG

(Moderator's Note: Was it the iron or the B complex? )

Margaret, Thanks for your comment. A long time ago I read the original work

on how B6 would cure carpel tunnel... about 50 mgs 2 times a day for 2 or 3

months. The MD who discovered this was a Texan, he wrote the Doctor Who

looked at Hands Vitamin B 6 , John M. Ellis, MD, Arco pub. fourth

printing, 1978, luckily I have a copy of the book. He finds that edema was

the problem and , also that potassium was needed, he gave orange juice to a

football team that had cramped legs. Now a days they get Gator Ade. I'm

glad to hear of the iron connection. NG
