This is your brain,

this is your brain on drugs.

this is your brain on 220 volts.

Poisoning the brain is profitable, how much can we make if we fry it?

Wow, this is brand new. Or is it? Isn't it. Who cares.

Again, how much can we make if we fry it?

Why Bother With Drugs To Change Your Brain. How About Zapping It With

Electricity To Change Your Moods And Emotions? Or Is This A Shift From One Form

Of Nightmarish Medicine To Another?

According to one doctor, " drugs have side effects. " Well, that's quite an

admission! And he then goes on to say, " We are beginning to think....that there

might be another way. " Yes, there must surely be one (including determining the

nutritional deficiencies in the brain) but using electrical currents to reshape

brain function (more specificially, the flow of neurotransmitters) is still very

much in the category of Dr. Frankenstein (no matter what psychiatrists claim)

and we'd better watch out for false claims and misleading claims and fantasy

claims from this point on, because there is a growing interest in doing brain

fiddling with electricity. Not that RFD feels this isn't a potentially

intriguing approach to depression or other mental woes - because it is likely

that the future will usher in some powerful forms of treatment employing a range

of electromagnetic codes, but psychiatry has long had the reputation of jumping

the gun and invading brain territory with far too many

hunches and ill-advised " experiments. "

F,

They cannot even come up with a new idea. Shock treatment is not new. They

fried lots of brains back in the 50's and 60's with it. I read recently

insulin shock treatment is still being used.
