It can be daunting to try to awaken sleeping people on an issue as complex as

CODEX and the EU Food Supplement Directive, but I thought you'd be glad to know

that we're making PROGRESS!

Yesterday I had a call back from the Producer of the George Noory show (thanks

to your requests that he put me on the air). While it remains to be seen if

Noory will want to do another show on the Codex issue so close to the one he did

recently with Robin Falkov, at least I now have the email address and phone

number of his producer and was able to provide Noory with plenty of food for

thought. I had an excellent discussion with Noory's producer, and thats always

an important first step to getting on any radio show.

REACHING OUT TO ICIM (INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE OF INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE) and to ACAM

(American College for the Advancement of Medicine)

 

On Monday I sent the alert (below) to ICIM and to ACAM. Between these two groups

they have hundreds of alternative medical practitioners who use vitamins,

chelation therapy, bioxidative treatments and other alternative treatment modes.

 

These medical renegades are our natural allies. Already the word is getting out.

I had an email right away from a Dr.Darby thanking me for the alert, and today I

heard from the webmaster of Dr.Charles Mary III MD in New Orleans, Louisiana who

has an active Community Bulletin Board where my alert was posted at

I emailed Dr.Mary to request his assistance in getting a return call from

Dr.Terry Chappell, the President of ICIM, and if I can get his assistance

hopefully he will second my concern with a personal message to his whole

membership- otherwise my alert might go over a lot of their heads because

they're all busy running medical clinics and this issue is quite complex. I also

sent word to Dr.Mary that I'd be glad to be a guest on his radio show which

reaches a large listening audience in New Orleans.

On March 20, 2001 a congressional oversight hearing that I pushed for for 5

years on the Codex vitamin issue was WHITEWASHED, and the USA was set up like a

bowling pin to lose in a future WTO Trade Dispute via which our vitamin laws

WILL be forcibly harmonized to a mindlessly restrictive emerging international

trade standard for dietary supplements under " development " at the UN's Codex

Alimentarius Commission's Committee on Nutrition and Foods for Special Dietary

Use.

 

The only chance we have to monkeywrench what is unfolding is by supporting the

Alliance for Natural Health's lawsuit to overturn the EU Food Supplement

Directive. The EU is the dominant political force at Codex, and unless the FSD

is overturned in court, a finalized global trade standard mirroring it will be

pushed through at Codex. This is a full scale global attack on the dietary

supplement industry, and it can ONLY be stopped if ENOUGH PEOPLE HELP!

 

I was kicked off the US Delegation to the UN's Codex Alimentarius Commission's

Committee on Nutrition and Foods for Special Dietary Use prior to the meeting in

Berlin in 2000 due to efforts as a whistleblower to expose criminal acts

committed by Dr.Beth Yetley of the FDA (the only member of our delegation with

the right to vote or speak at these meetings- the rest of us were just

observers.)

 

I had death threats for attempting to get congressional oversight on this issue,

and Milt Copulous, who was on Congressman Burton's staff was fired for

attempting to help me get oversight. He was not fired by Burton, he was fired by

a pharma plant on the committee staff, and he was replaced by another pharma

plant who was instrumental in the whitewashing of the hearing.

 

You need to know that pharma interests are currently dominating the world's

vitamin trade associations from the top-down, and that National Nutritional

Foods Assn's lobbying firm, Parry, Romani, DeConcini and Symms played a role in

the whitewashing of the 2001 oversight hearing on Codex. Their clients at the

time included Pfizer and Aventis. You should know that NNFA does not enforce its

conflict of interest disclosure bylaw.

 

As a result, they are allowing an employee of Pfizer to chair their

international committee and he is actively leading the rank and file membership

of NNFA to the cliff via spin against my message. You should know that this same

individual (Randy Dennin) is the Chair of a controlled opposition group called

International Alliance of Dietary Supplement Associations which has NGO status

at Codex meetings where they're doing the diametric OPPOSITE of what they've led

the rank and file members of NNFA to believe they're doing. I built this website

to expose IADSA http://www.iahf.com/iadsa

 

You should know that the EU is the dominant political force at the UN's Codex

Alimentarius Commission which is on the verge of pushing a finalized Codex

vitamin standard through to completion which will mirror the draconian EU Food

Supplement Directive. You should know that the EU expanded on May 1 from 15 to

25 nations, and that they control the votes of many more former colonies in the

third world.

 

You should know that the Alliance for Natural Health

http://www.alliance-natural-health.org in the UK won a historic referral to the

European Court of Justice on January 30, 2003 where they will attempt to

overturn the EU Food Supplement Directive. I witnessed them win this referral at

the High Court of Justice in London, UK. This very able organization is led by

Robert Verkerk, PhD On the ANH website you can see that they have widespread

support from alternative practitioner organizations across Europe.

 

You should know that with your help ANH can win their lawsuit- they have the

best lawfirm in Europe in their corner, but they urgently need donations which

can be made via the secure server on their website at

You should know that due to pharma control of the vitamin trade associations,

thus far only two US vitamin companies are backing ANH's legal effort:

Metagenics, and Douglas Labs.

 

IAHF is therefor reaching out to alternative practitioners urging that you all

copy the CODEX RED ALERT which is on Dr.Corsello's website at

http://www.corsello.com/politics/politics_red_alerts.htm and put it on the ICCM

website and also on your OWN websites.

 

This is a true grass roots effort. I need you to alert your patients so that

they too will make donations to ANH's lawsuit. If you have solid connections

with any vitamin companies, please let me know and work with me to contact them

about this. Unless we all chip in to work on this, we're going to lose our

access to dietary supplements. I am not " crying wolf " . I was the first to call

this issue to global attention with an article in Life Extension Magazine in

1996, and I've been on it like glue ever since.

 

In the early 90s the cartel made a mistake that backfired on them when they

attempted a full frontal assault on the dietary supplement industry via David

Kessler's reign of terror. The ensuing public backlash resulted in the drive to

pass DSHEA.

 

They have now gotten much smarter. For several years now they've been

orchestrating a global takeover of the dietary supplement industry using the UN

Codex Commission and the WTO as their primary weapons. They're " boiling the frog

slowly " figuring no one will notice whats going on----- til its too late to do

anything about it. They're trying to capitalize on widespread ignorance of

international law.

 

Our LAST CHANCE to stop their agenda is by backing the ANH lawsuit. We can't

stop Codex at Codex, the whole " process " is rigged. We can only stop it

indirectly. With your help we might also pressure congress into once again

holding oversight on this issue since they whitewashed the hearing on March 20,

2001 not allowing me or any of my witnesses to testify.

 

The means by which the FDA has set us up is they've been working closely with

the pharma dominated National Academy of Sciences to create FALSE DEFINITIONS of

supplement safety. Under the SPS Agreement, the only legal means by which we can

defend our domestic vitamin law in the event of a WTO Trade Dispute against us

is on a basis of SAFETY.

 

You should know that a trade dispute against us would not be adjudicated in a US

court using our rules of evidence. It would be adjudicated in a new

international court called the Dispute Settlement Body of the WTO. You should

know that this is a rigged " mickey mouse " court that does not use our rules of

evidence. It meets behind closed doors, and no private citizen has standing to

appear before it. We would be " represented " by the same unelected FDA

bureaucrats who've set us up to lose in a WTO Trade Dispute in the first place.

 

Every decision made by the DSB has gone against the environment, against the

public health, against human rights, against labor rights, against all the

intangibles that go into the makeup of any democratic nations laws. They have

already forced many changes to US law by threatening to impose trade sanctions

against broad sectors of our economy, and Congress has kowtowed to them every

time...
