Guest guest
Garlic oil always seems to help me... guess because it's a natural antibiotic... I have also used cleaver's herb for it as well. Here's what information I have... Allen -------- Cleaver’s Herb - (Galium aparine) -- Other names: Bedstraw, Coachweed, Clives, Coachweed, Goosegrass, Gosslingweed, Hedge-burs, Love-man, Stick-a-back, Sweethearts. The German names are: Kletterlabkraut, Klebkraut or Echtes Labkraut. Cleavers is a reliable diuretic used to help clean gravel and urinary stones and to treat urinary infections. It also stimulates the lymphatic system and relieves swollen [lymph] glands [nodes]. The body relies on the lymphatic system to drain away toxins and wastes. These, under the influence of Cleavers, will be voided in the urine, and so it is understandable that this herb has been described as an alterative and blood purifier. It is useful, therefore, in treating diseases such as eczema, psoriasis and arthritis in which the blood requires cleansing. It is also traditionally used for [breast] cancer, particularly that of the lymphatic system. It is reputed to help lower blood pressure and cool the body during fevers and is used as an external wash for sores and wounds. Cleavers has a number of uses in herbal cosmetics and body care. An infusion of the herb applied to the skin is said to clear the complexion and can also be used as a hair rinse to treat dandruff. In addition, a reliable natural deodorant can be made from the plant (for source see footnote 1). Other actions: Cleavers is a very valuable plant and is perhaps the best tonic to the lymphatic system available. As such it may be used in a wide range of problems where the lymphatic system is involved. Thus it would be used in swollen glands (lymphadenitis) [consider swollen nodules in cases of breast cancer] anywhere in the body and especially in tonsillitis and in adenoid trouble. It is widely used in skin conditions, especially in the dry varieties such as psoriasis. It will be useful in the treatment of cystitis and other urinary conditions where there is pain and may be combined with demulcents for this. There is a long tradition for the use of Cleavers in the treatment of ulcers and tumors, which may be the result of the [effective] lymph drainage (for source see footnote 2). Cleavers as an anti-parasitic herb: (for source see footnote 3) In support of our contention that all disease is facilitated by parasites and their own parasites namely bacteria and viruses - we have already discovered that Cleavers is a potent anti-bacterial and anti-viral herb. It also boosts the immune system to the extent that the body’s own defenses can ward off the invaders. As additional ‘proof’ of Cleavers’ anti-parasitic properties we quote here a recipe for Ringworms: Ringworm is caused by a fungal infection of the skin which can occur on various parts of the body and give rise to symptoms like athlete’s foot. It commonly occurs between the toes, around the groin or in circular patches anywhere on the body. It is made worse by sweating and by poor hygiene. The key to its effective removal lies in scrupulous hygiene and in making sure that some air can reach the affected parts. If you are using Cleaver's by itself , then use it internally, as a mixture that raises the body’s resistance (improves the immune system) and increases lymphatic drainage: This tea should be drunk three times daily Echinacea 2 parts Cleaver’s herb 1 part Poke root 1 part Wild Indigo 1 part Yellow Dock 1 part
