Guest guest Posted May 12, 2004 Report Share Posted May 12, 2004 My wife, Pam, told me yesterday that her friend's father has been getting his intestines chopped off year by year because of Crohn's dis-ease, and that as of the last operation, the surgeons left him with just 165 centimeters of intestine. Pam's friend is a nurse, and she said a person needs 200 centimeters for the intestines to be able to function at all. So now the surgeons are fitting her father with a catheter through which they can feed him liquid nutrients. Just thinking of the misery this man could have been saved had he not dove into the doctor's mainstream meat grinder makes one sick at the stomach! I tell you, folks, the MD's actually DO think that people want to remain alive no matter what they have to go through, or no matter what condition they are kept alive in. Loudly and clearly, the words of the oncological nurse who spoke to me when I was entering into treatment for lymphoma: " Elliot, YOU have GOT to TAKE CONTROL of YOUR OWN treatment, or THE DOCTORS WILL TURN YOU INTO A PIECE OF MEAT.
