Guest guest
Gentian violet in liquid form was used by my father for a fungal infection of the ear with quick and total success. This was after a year or two of 'treatment' by an ear specialist with a pharmacy industry preparation. That medicine had caused sores and swelling on his ear lobe. Only when he asked about some purple stuff he had heard of did they give him this gentian violet. And only after warning him about how messy it was to use!!! He was well in less than a week. pj Win a $20,000 Career Makeover at HotJobs
Guest guest
Thank you for your reply. A friend of mine mentioned G. Violet, but was afraid of walking around with blue ears. Do you think Tea Tree oil mixed 50/50 with olive oil would work? Thanks, Gary , Shirley Reed <pj20844> wrote: > Gentian violet in liquid form was used by my father for a fungal infection of the ear with quick and total success. Guest guest
With me (and one of my beagles), our " ear wax " turns a brownish/maroonish color instead of yellowish color. My ears itch like the dickens, too, just like any yeast infection! I have found topical relief through small amounts of hydrogen peroxide on a q-tip, and overall systemic relief with Dioxychlor DC3 by American Biologics. All my yeast tends to flare when my ears flare up, so I have to treat systemically.
