Guest guest
Frank, I absolutely love this group and I get tons of useful information here that I use and also pass on to needing friends. I even copy some and keep many folders on different conditions that I might need later or for other people, but it's impossible for me to copy every single thing I might think is relavent due to time contraints (I get nagged for spending soooo much time on the computer). I hate to ask questions...I think it's clear that this forum is for reading more than asking...and I don't want to be a bother to anyone asking about something that has been posted in the past. Only problem is, when I try to look something up in the archives search feature, it never returns anything close to what I'm looking for. Is there a specific way to use that search feature? For example, I'm currently looking for info I read in this forum about HRT trials being cancelled to pass on to a friend who is now concerned about taking HRT. I've spent hours searching page by page, but after a couple of hours I just gave up. When I used the archive search feature, I entered many different subjects worded in every form I could come up with hoping to hit the right one, but never got anything close to what I was looking for. Sometimes the results were totally unrelated. I'm probably just one of the vastly illiterate when it comes to understanding the complexities of forum searching, and I'm hoping that you can provide an insight to my erroneous searching abilities. Thanks for any help you can offer.
Guest guest
Hi Kat, check out downloadable archives at http://elfstrom.com/amf/ login: afm password: library You can download the files to your computer and import them into your email program. Then you can search through all 20000+ messages, limited only by the searching features of your email program.
