Guest guest
Dear Group, In my ongoing attempt to explain about this group, I want to just try and cover it again in very simple terms. A membership in this list allows you to read this list and to use the resources like the archives, links list, files etc. A membership in this list does not come with any automatic posting privileges. A membership in this list allows you to submit messages but that does not mean that they will be posted. I started this list to be a place for like minded people to share information. I did not start it for it to be all things to all people. Every new person who comes here thinks that this list should conform to what they want it to be. I am afraid that you will have to accept the list the way that it is or seek what you want somewhere else. I am not seeking new members to this list. We do not sell any products so it isn't a matter of trying to get the largest audience available. On the other hand those who try and conform to the way that we do it here and want to learn about alternative health we have a wealth of information and resources to use if you want it. I have removed over 330 people from the list at this point because I felt that for one reason or another that it wasn't a good match between them and this list. I believe that both sides have the option of severing a relationship. People can choose to leave this list any time that they choose. I also reserve the right to have anyone leave this list if I choose, because I don't think that they " fit " . That could be because they are promoting a product, or trying to disrupt the group with misinformation, poor quality information, or a thousand other things. As I told someone recently, I do not have to be " fair " and I do not have to " prove " anything, all I have to do is what I feel is best for the list, whatever that is. This is not a political entity. We do not vote on anything here. This is a list that I started for my and a few other's benefit. I am glad that so many have seemed to benefit from it also and I do think that we all need to help " spread the word " . To do it your way you can also start a list and help spread the word. Most people do not want to do the work involved to do that. They prefer to tell me how to run this list with me and a few others doing most of the work. Unless you are a major contributor to this list, you are basically a guest who gets a lot of information free. If you want to contribute I welcome you to do so, but I also expect you to provide something beyond a casual remark. You can see the postings on this list, so you should know what is acceptable and what probably isn't or if you don't you can learn over time. regards, Frank

Raine replies: I agree, and for that I'm grateful! VERY grateful, especially to you, and Joann. This list is fabulous. Thank you for allowing me to sit in. I did create my own list, by the way... and I share the information from this list there.... spreading the word. ) -Raine **The greatest wealth is health. ~Virgil**
Guest guest
Hi, Frank. Well understood and well stated. It is a time-consuming and fairly thankless task. Them what disagrees with the rules can start their own list. Correcto. Thank you for what you provide! The Samuel Epstein Interview I got from this list may save some lives!
