Guest guest
Hi, Frank. I hope that as more and more of us who are middle aged---I am 52--- see how very little mainstream doctors and hospitals are able to do for our aged parents---even what damage they do to them in the name of health---that more and more of us will come to see the wisdom in natural, alternative health and healing. But for now, the deception just continues. I am on several Prostate Cancer Boards. This is a recent message from one of them(Women-Against-Prostate-Cancer) about an upcoming so-called " Men's Health Conference " sponsored by Pfizer, Merck, Endocare, Solvay, The American Urological Association and other " champions " of male health. Reading it makes me sick. I believe the second line about sums up the focus and the " value " such a conference will have for those who attend: " An emerging health issue is the poor health of men, including lack of access to insurance and health care. " ??? So, the poor health of men is due to lack of access to insurance and health care? And it can be restored to them by giving them better access? What self-serving, propagandistic nonsense! Incidentally, the multi-billion dollar drug companies who are sponsoring this self-serving, propagandistic farce are not even willing to foot the bill for it. They are charging each hapless attendee 400 dollars for the privilege! Here is the ad, as it appears on the Women-Against-Prostate-Cancer board. Those women, incidentally, would do far better at fighting prostate cancer if they did some real research and renamed their board, " Women-Against-Deceptive-Mainstream-Medical-Practices.
