(1) PROTEST the American Psychiatric Association

Annual Meeting, Sunday, 2 May 2004, 1 pm in front

of the Javits Center, New York City, USA.

 

The protest will include a huge check for $5,000

to be paid to anyone who finds that mysterious

" chemical imbalance " that psychiatry can't find.

 

Watch for the helium balloons that make the point

that the APA is " full of hot air. "

(2) PFIZER, INC. vs. MindFreedom: That bouncing

ball lies! The manufacturer of Zoloft debates us

about their " chemical imbalance " fraud. They lose.

 

If you live in the USA, you've probably seen ads on

TV for Zoloft with the little bouncy ball. The ads

claim, " Zoloft is a medicine that helps correct the

chemical imbalance of serotonin in the brain. "

 

MindFreedom demanded that Pfizer, Inc. produce any

scientific evidence of an " imbalance " and how Zoloft helps

" correct " it. Pfizer actually responded. The MindFreedom

Scientific Panel demolished Pfizer's defense.

(3) NEW YORK STATE forcibly drugs people living at home

out in the community. Does their huge database of

potential prospects for forced drugging include you yet?

 

Nearly all USA states and many other nations have passed

laws this past decade allowing you to be court ordered to

take powerful psychiatric drugs on an " outpatient " basis.

 

The MindFreedom office has recently been in touch

with members in Massachusetts, Michigan, and Ohio

who must take these drugs while living in their own homes.

 

The " neuroleptic " drugs used can cause actual shrinkage of

the frontal lobes, the same area targeted by a lobotomy.
