Actually, there is whole food " real " B6, which is Pyridoxine HCl. It

is found in Vitamin B6 is found in beans, nuts, legumes, eggs, meats,

fish, whole grains. The problem stems not from natural B6, but rather

from the synthetic vitamins, all of them. How can we expect to

sustain life with synthetics? Life feeds life. Synthetic vitamins

are destructive to live. That is how the medical community studies

vitamins and proves them ineffective in clearing/preventing health

issues - by using synthetics and not acknowledging such. They look at

synthetics and true whole food vitamins as being the same thing, which

obviously they are not. Our " fortified " foods are " fortified " with

synthetic vitamins, not whole food vitamins. That is where the

problem begins, not with the real, whole food vitamin B6.

BOMBER "The Greatest Source of Disease and Death in the World" The other story about the so-called vitamin B6 Several months ago I wrote a series of articles about WinterPeople and the Three Circadian Clocks in the human body. Imentioned that one of the primary chemicals which operates thecircadian clocks was made in the brain from tryptophan in thediet. Tryptophan in the bloodstream is converted into theneurochemicals serotonin in the morning when you wake up, andthen is converted into melatonin in the evening to make yousleep. Thus the very same dietary chemical, tryptophan, isused by the body to raise and lower the brain temperature tocreate the sleep/wake cycle. I also mentioned that surplus "vitamin B6" in the dietcompletely disrupts the circadian rhythms. Many readers wroteto ask how could so many

people have surplus B6 in their diet. What I will show you here is that most people unknowinglyactually get about 10 times the RDA for B6 even if they don'ttake any vitamins or diet supplements. And if they do takedaily vitamins with B6 they are almost toxic and morbidbecause of the surplus. This is a tremendous health disastercaused by false food advertisements and profiteering. Infact, B6 is not a vitamin and it should never be used in thediet. There is no RDA for B6 -- that false number wasincorrectly based on the RDA for Niacin and not B6. I first discovered the problem with B6 about 20 years ago. Ifound that B6 destroys all the tryptophan in the diet byconverting it directly into the vitamin Niacin while still inthe bloodstream right after ingesting the B6. By doing that, none of the tryptophan can later enter the brain and becomeconverted into either serotonin or

melatonin to operate thecircadian clocks. The sudden excess of Niacin caused by theB6 in the bloodstream is simply wasted and peed away. High levels of serotonin in the brain raises the braintemperature, causing a sense of wakefulness, well-being andsatisfaction. It is the feedback mechanism when eating foodto tell the brain you have had enough to eat -- you aresatisfied and don't need to eat any more. Without thefeedback mechanism tryptophan, the individual has low levelsof serotonin and has "a brain chemical imbalance" and isdiagnosed as ADD or ADHD, obese, hyperactive, needing Prozacetc (along with a very long list of related mental andphysical disorders). All caused simply by a surplus of B6 inthe diet and the resulting disruption of the circadianrhythms. It is the primary cause of the recent "epidemic" ofobesity. Obesity is NOT caused by simply eating fast foods.

The sudden rise in obesity around the world "by coincidence"started about 20 years ago, at the same time as most preparedfood makers started adding extra B6 and other vitamins to alltheir food products. About 20 years ago, most food manufacturers started the trickof adding vitamins to enhance their food advertisements. Itstarted when Ovaltine added vitamins up the wazoo to competewith Borden's chocolate milk. This was to overcome mother'sconcerns about chocolate milk having added sugar. ButOvaltine with vitamins was "good for you" according to theiradvertisements. So other food companies started doing thesame thing. That was a big mistake. In 1985 I started reading the list of ingredients on most foodproducts. By 1990 all and every breakfast cereal had added100 % of the RDA for B6, along with most other vitamins. It isalso added to all flour products as "enriched

flour" and awhole plethora of other food products. B6 is added, since itis a simple and stable synthetic chemical which does notdegrade with age or cooking. It is also very cheap and adding100% RDA costs almost nothing. But it is NOT a vitamin. Itis not found in any natural food. And there is no naturalform of B6. It is not a food. It's just a chemical. Thus B6 is the only "vitamin" which is neither natural nor avitamin. By 2006, of all the hundreds of commercial breakfastcereals in a box on the market shelves, only one remains atrue food product which does not add any vitamins. I leave itas an exercise for the reader to see if you can find that onecereal box on your store shelf which has no added "vitamins." And if you do -- buy it and try it. Let me know if your kidslike it. It has no B6. B6 was simply used since about 1920 as a way to enhance

Niacinlevels in the American diet. Low Niacin levels had caused thethen prevalent American disease called Pellagra, a bleeding ofthe lips, gums and loose teeth. The result of that disease, caused by lack of Niacin in the diet, was a debilitatingcondition which led to other diseases. But natural Niacinquickly degrades when left on the shelf. So the USDA toldfood makers to add the simple synthetic chemical B6 to raisethe level of Niacin in diet, since it instantly converteddietary tryptophan in the bloodstream into Niacin. In the1920's most nutritionists assumed that tryptophan was uselessand had no function in the body. So using it as a precursorfor Niacin seemed to be a health benefit. That was a horriblemistake. In the 1920's, nobody noticed that tryptophan, which does notever enter body cells but just remained in the bloodstream byitself, while all the other amino

acids were absorbed into thebody cells, was not just a precursor for Niacin, but was alsothe only precursor for serotonin and melatonin in the brain. That wasn't discovered until the 1970's. But by then the"fiction" that B6 was a vitamin precursor for making Niacinwas too well entrenched in nutrition theories. B6 wasrecommended as a food supplement and added to almosteverything. It's a long story, which I will tell in a later article. Butthe average person in America, and now throughout the world, who eats a bowl of cereal for breakfast, a McBurger bun forlunch and other snacks and desserts, gets about 1,000% or tentimes the RDA for B6. That is an extreme overdose of B6. This stops all the natural tryptophan in the diet from evergetting into the brain, to become the neurochemicals serotoninand melatonin. B6 is THE SOURCE of the so-called "chemicalimbalance in the brain" which

affects about half thepopulation. If you were ever diagnosed as have a "brainchemical imbalance," it was most probably caused by the excessB6 in your diet. Seventeen years ago I worked with a professor and a group ofhis grad students at the University of Ohio. They wereexcited about doing some experiments to confirm mydiscoveries. But the school term ended before they couldcomplete their experiments and I lost contact with theprofessor. That was before the Internet, and I was using theCompuserve Medical Forum to communicate with those Docs atOhio. Those were the days when AOL and Compuserve werecompetitors. But AOL seemed to win everything, and in theexplosive growth of other ISP's connecting to the Internet, the Compuserve Medical Forum simply disappeared. I also, 15 years ago, worked with some pediatricians. I toldthem about all the new synthetic

powdered mother's milkformulas (Similac and many others) now being fed to babies, containing surplus B6, and that it was the major cause of theincreasing problem around the world of colic (crying, overeating and swollen stomach) and obesity in infants. They wereamazed and had never heard of that before. But it sure seemedto make sense, when I explained it to them. I proposed thatexperiments could be done with baby formulas which could bemade without B6 and comparing the results to standard babyformulas. So far, that experiment has not been done, but theresults are easy to predict. There is no B6 in natural mother's milk. Mother's milk is thehighest dietary source for tryptophan. Nobody, other than me,has ever explained why mother's milk is so high in tryptophan. It is the biochemical method found in all mammals, whichnaturally runs the baby's eating feedback mechanism and

kickstarts the neonate baby's sleeping/eating circadian rhythmcycles. With surplus synthetic B6 in the baby's diet, thenormal circadian rhythms are disrupted and the baby overeatsand becomes obese. Obesity becomes a chronic lifestyle anddisease. The bottom line -- almost all of the dietary problems, mentaland physical disorders, which are "inexplicably" becomingincreasingly common around the world, are all simply due to ahuge surplus of the synthetic chemical called B6 in the moderndiet. Notice I don't even call it a vitamin, since it is notand never has been a vitamin, but simply a very cheapsynthetic chemical food additive which is used in productadvertisements to falsely promote the food product. Thus when I say, "too much B6 interferes with serotonin andleads to obesity" that is only a very small part of theincreasing major debilitating health problems now occurring inmost

children and adults. I have already researched enough material and done enoughexperiments to fill a research journal which I call "The B6Bomber." But, if you notice, I do research and conductstudies and publish articles in a large variety of areas. Sothe B6 story has been on the back burner for about 10 years, while I publish much more critical research. But be patient. Everything in its own time... If you need it non-synthetic is good, if you don't need it - neither will help you.
