Guest guest
I have a friend who came to the U.S. fourteen years ago from England. Liverpool to be exact. She has had many health problems, one of which is stomach problems-maybe IBS. She has had tonsillitis recently, but our last conversation led to a cracked molar that she has had since she has lived here. Our group of friends converged on her this week after hearing this and told her it is extremely important to get this fixed. Maybe this is what is making her ill. She is adamant about not going to the dentist until it starts hurting. We told her that bacteria can be her problem through her teeth. Any further information you can add will be helpful, but it is going to be difficult to convince her. Thanks, Judy
Guest guest
Not sure how a conversation has led to a cracked tooth, but anyway thats her business really, many British have dreadful teeth - when it hurts then she will have it pulled and although I agree with you in principle i have found from personal experience that it doesn't seem to make any difference at all. Guest guest
Thanks Jane. You have no idea what our conversations are like-middle age women with husbands, kids grandkids, aches and pains, etc. We have a plethora of topics, but best of all we are therapy to each other and have been for years. And we have great fun. It is wonderful to have a group of friends like this one. We are just trying to help someone who refuses help. Guest guest
Eventually we have to let them go! However much we love them. Diet would be the best thing to try with her - no milk no gluten - probably just as impossible tho!! - bobjudy Friday, April 07, 2006 11:17 PM Re: friend with cracked tooth Thanks Jane.
