Trying to help someone who desribes their problem as " I would be so

thirsty all the time, not just regular thirsty, but like I've been in

the desert thirsty " . Does anybody have any ideas ? He drinks a lot of

water too.

I used to work with a guy who was “bi-polar.”

His medications caused thirstiness and he literally had to drink to keep his

kidneys flushed of the salts (medications and their remains) that clog up the

kidneys.

Does he have a lot of salt in his diet - is

he on any other medication - does he take a heap of sugar - does he drink over

3L water in 24 hours? Is he diabetic?

If he drinks a lot of water and is still thirsty all the time, my

thoughts would be check for diabetes and check to see if he is low on

salt. If the water goes right through him he may not have enough salt

in his diet - of course the salt he should be eating is the sea salt

or Real Salt - as the processed stuff is not healthy at all.
