I betcha the real world facts have little negative impact on "Avian's" value as a tool for quarantine, travel restrictions, forced inoculation; you won't see this idea developed by CDC/WHO/Tamiflu/Rumsfeld/Homeland Security/AMA, et.al. Unfortunately, the "over/under" on there being a "next pandemic" of some type is close to 98%, I suspect.
