Guest guest
Sharon, I haven't tried the cabbage soup diet yet I may next week or two. But I'am trying to find the recipe I have for fried cabbage, which I haven't tried either but it's cabbage and celery just fried in the pan which sound so easy and people say it's good. Everything below is from my files, not from moi, but other sources: http://www.rexdonald.com/diet-programs/cabbage-soup-diet.htm Cabbage Soup Recipe Spicy Cabbage Soup The unusual combination of vegetables in this healthy soup are brought together beautifully with the spices. The Healthy Sauté cooking method makes it light and healthier without heating oils or compromising flavor. Feel free to add more spices and chili pepper if you like it spicier. If you have the time, let this soup simmer for a little longer for a richer taste. Serves 4 http://www.doctoryourself.com/links.html The Breuss Tea mix and a specific mixture of organically grown carrot, beetroot, celery, Chinese radish and potato worked wonders on his patients. His mixture provided, in liquid form, all of the minerals and vitamins required by the body during the 42 day fast, whilst the body's own resources are used in dealing with the diseased tissue. Testimonial after testimonial confirmed that his treatment worked. I have tried his six day vegetable and herbal tea cleansing diet and recommend that everyone should give their bodies a rest every six months. I felt absolutely fantastic and re-energised" said Hilde, who often works 14 hours a day. ** Breuss juice vegetable juice that consists of 55% red beet root, 20% carrots, 20% celery root, 3% raw potato, 2% radishes. The cocktail is made up with beets, carrots, celery roots, black radishes and potato. 300 grams of Red Beets 100 grams Carrot 100 grams Celery root approximately 30 grams Black Radish Chocolate Cravings: My trick to feed the cravings for sweets is to mix 8 tbs cocoa oil with 3 little packets of stevia and 2 tbs cacao powder. (Bee's Candida List) CHAI TEA FOR DIE-OFF AND DETOX Here is the home made alfalfa tea recipe: Whenever I feel shattered, I go for Chai tea. Sooooooooooooooo relaxing and beneficial for my well being. Outa share my secret – (originally stolen from Shelleycat’s milk tea, below): Alfalfa tea (blood purifier (liver) and joint pain/arthritis cure) with 2 whole cardamom seeds, 1/2 inch fresh ginger root cut or grated, 1 stick cinamon, 3 cloves. You’ll love it! Detox at its best! You can do the same thing with -dandelion/ black radish/artichoke/minth tea and target the liver -parsley/linden/blackcurrent/green tea to target the kidneys. Actually you could use any herb tea you like best. Green tea is what most ex-cafeinoman rely on. Good site about veggies and their power: http://64.106.220.190/recipes/Vegetable%20Guide.htm Have a carrot, celery and cucumber juice daily. Eczema is related to wheat and dairy intake. Snacks: Banana mixed with avocado and some minced garlic (all mixed in a food processor) then you put it on lettuce and eat it like a wrap. You can put cauliflower in the food processor and process it until it's grainy. Then add a little Bragg's and a little cider vinegar (to taste). Here is a delicious raw soup: Blend- Totally living, totally delicious. Avocado, Spring onions, Mushroom, Tomato Lime juice, Basil, Yellow / orange capsicum De-seeded green chilli RAW SOUP: Blend kiwi fruit and cantaloupe in a food processor to make a chilled soup. RAW BEETS A salad of grated carrots, beets, and maybe a little apple is yummy. Dill goes well with beets too. A dressing of blended nuts (cashews make it creamy), lemon juice, a bit of sea salt if you like, and fresh dill, with enough water or cucumber juice to blend it well. Pour over the grated beets. Yum. http://www.relfe.com/removing_heavy_metal_toxicity.html How to Remove Heavy Metal Toxicity To get rid of heavy metal toxicity, simply juice pure cilantro (coriander / Chinese parsley). I was told by the naturopath that a hospital in Japan was doing a study on heavy metal poisoning, with 100 patients. Suddenly, for no apparent reason, one day the patients started to pass heavy metals in their urine. The doctors looked around for the cause of this. It turned out there was a new cook, who served soup before all meals. In every bowl of soup he added "Vietnamese parsley" - that is, cilantro. All metals were removed with the cilantro, including mercury and lead! Apparently the cilantro is meant to change the polarity of the blood. The cilantro must be fresh. CABBAGE I just put it, sliced, on a baking tray with a little vegan stock and a few drops of oil, then when it's cooked I drizzle Pumpkin Oil or Walnut Oil over it, it's lovely!! GO WITH THE FLOW Wash your face and perhaps other parts of the body with a washcloth dipped in warm, lightly salted water use ONLY good sea salt! It assist’s in releasing excessive emotions at this time. I take a crispy romaine leaf, fill it with mashed avocado...or guacamole and eat it as a hand roll. Add cucumber too...or red pepper strips. PINTO BEANS Protein Power Plus Maintain Your Memory with Thiamin (Vitamin B1) If you’re wondering how to replace red meat in your menus, become a fan of pinto beans. These hearty beans are a good source of protein, and when combined with a whole grain such as whole wheat pasta or brown rice, provide protein comparable to that of meat or dairy foods without the high calories or saturated fat found in these foods. And, when you get your protein from pinto beans, you also get the blood sugar stabilizing and heart health benefits of the soluble fiber provided by these versatile legumes. A cup of pinto beans provides 14 grams of protein--that's 28.1% of the daily value for protein. COOKING: http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=foodspice & dbid=89 Use pinto beans in chili recipes in place of kidney beans. BLACKBEANS Overall, the level of antioxidants found in black beans in this study is approximately 10 times that found in an equivalent amount of oranges, and comparable to that found in an equivalent amount of grapes or cranberries. Include black beans with your other favorite toppings next time you make a stuffed baked potato. A Few Quick Serving Ideas for Kidney Beans Combine cooked kidney beans with black beans and white beans to make a colorful three bean salad. Mix with tomatoes and scallions and dress with olive oil, lemon juice, salt and black pepper. Serve cooked kidney beans over a piece of cornbread and top with grated cheese for a twist on the traditional tamale pie. In a food processor or blender, combine cooked kidney beans with garlic, cumin and chili peppers for a delicious spread that can be used as a crudité dip or sandwich filling. Mix Cinnamon and stevia (powdered) into coconut oil and spread it thin on a cookie sheet and freeze it. I then break it up and store it in a container in my freezer. It helps to have a variety of ways to get your coconut oil. A few tablespoons of organic coconut milk with a little raw organic honey helps to stop the cravings. Something I tried that was fun to eat with meat and a salad was spaghetti squash. You cut it up(scrape out the seeds) boil it for 20 minutes and then scrape it off the skin and it's thready like spaghetti and tastes pretty good with lots of butter, garlic and onion powder and sea salt. It takes approximately one month of healing for every year you had symptoms. It is important that you drink the lemon and sea salt drink (1/4 tsp. sea salt and juice of 1/2 lemon in 6 ozs. of water at least 6 times daily; 3 with meals to aid digestion).
