Dear Friends, We are suddenly seeing it splattered all over. Eight million children suffer from birth defects every year, 3.3 million die. Now why is the press suddenly so concerned? That is because the medical industry is tickled pink. This is a huge market and they have been preparing for it. How? I think you must have guessed it already. The genetic engineering and stem cell technology industry. Stem cell banks are opening up everywhere and they charge a whopping sum to store your baby's umbilical blood and cells. So what if the technology is yet to kick start? The future has wonderful promise, they say. Yeah right, if you could earn in billions from the "promise". In India the Health Ministry has come down heavily on a private clinic that carried out clandestine experiments upon "promise fed" patients. The main recipient, a prominent political figure, suffered a stroke soon after the experiment on him but the two incidents were not linked. Well

anyway, with a willing and submissive press the medical industry doesn't have to try hard to publicise their wares. Great science. Great marketing. But what they should be really concerned about is, WHY ARE SO MANY CHILDREN BEING BORN WITH BIRTH DEFECTS? We know why the emphasis is skewed. If children are not born with birth defects then how will the industry survive? So we have vaccines, heavy drug therapy, suppressive treatment, unnecessary surgery, chemicals in the atmosphere and food chain, lifestyles dictated by the industry, more birth defects, willing governments, gullible public, genetic engineering...(and more birth defects)....and roaring profits!! This is fascist medicine at its worst. Here is a sample story from the many headlines on birth defects. http://today.reuters.com/News/newsArticle.aspx?type=healthNews & storyID=2006-01-30T215022Z_01_N30314405_RTRUKOC_0_US-DEFECTS.xml Regards, Jagannath.
