Guest guest
Sharing this information from someone else........I knew magnets were good for taking away burns, but I didn't know about honey! Interesting, ......... Janice. My ex was burned in a gas explosion many years ago & spent some time in the burn unit. He has some nasty scars. A few years ago, we had a car fire in which he was burned again & the paramedics came & tried to get him to go to the hospital. We had done a few small experiments with Manuka honey up til then, but when he refused to go to the burn unit for his hands & arms, I knew he was going to really find out how well the stuff worked. He had mostly first & some 2nd degree burns & used the Manuka honey exclusively. He was back to work the next day, in spite of being in pain. To make a long story short, he has absolutely ZERO scarring from those burns & they healed up way faster than they would have, had he gone to the burn unit. This is the treatment used in New Zealand in their burn units & they also use it for incisions after surgery as well. It is also good for healing h-pylori bacteria. Guest guest
I will have to tell my ol man about the honey with h pylori. he has a lot of problems with his ulcers. did a round of antibiotics but he still has the ulcers. I think the thing with honey for burns is because it blocks the air from the burn completely. aloe is also excellent for burns. my son burned his arms on a hot iron when he was a baby and got 3rd degree burns. I put aloe on them immediatly and many times a day after, and the burns healed up in half the time and left no scars. - Janice MCS CDN Sunday, February 05, 2006 4:07 PM Honey takes away burns.
