The original story - search Renee Caisse - tells that the original formula was with all 8 herbs, and over time many have dropped some of the original formula down. So far as I know only Flor Essence continues with all 8 herbs. Dropping from the 8 to 4 you risk missing some of the benefits of the original formulation. One link on the site interested me. http://essiac-info.org/storage.html It tells how you can vacuum seal the herbs in a jar using the Food Saver and I will add that you can also use the "Pump N Seal" to do the same thing. In a survival situation with no electricity, the "Pump N Seal" beats all of the other sealers when it comes to using jars. The present info seems to be on the 4 herbs. Anyway, I do feel that Essiac is the treatment of choice re: cancer.
