Make Your Own Calcium

Supplement

By Cathy Mundy

You can make your own

calcium supplement using a lemon and a fresh egg. The following recipe is from

Ted Morter's book, " Your Health, Your Choice " :

1 fresh organic egg

Freshly squeezed lemon

juice

1. Place a whole,

clean, uncooked egg into a clean, wide-mouth jar.

2. Cover the egg with

freshly squeezed lemon juice.

3. Cover the jar

loosely and place it in the refrigerator.

4. A few times a day,

gently agitate the jar.

5. After 48 hours,

when the bubbling has stopped, carefully remove the egg.

6. Take one-half

teaspoon of this mixture each day as you simultaneously concentrate on

re-building your calcium from other natural sources, particularly freshly

extracted juices from dark green, leafy vegetables like kale.

The citric acid from

the lemon juice has combined with calcium from the egg shell to form calcium

citrate. This is organic in nature and usable by the body. It retains its living

quality.

Be sure to check with your

doctor or health advisor before switching from a prescription or

over-the-counter calcium supplement to this home-made alternative.
