On Mon. the 2nd my father woke up to a rapid heart rate, not thinking anything of it he continued on his day hoping that it would go back to normal. Later that evening it was still the same and decided it was time to go to the hospital. Upon arriving they did the usual tests. His heart rate was 148 but his blood pressure was 118 over 82. The hospital decided to keep him for two days until they could figure out what was wrong with him. The hospital couldn't get his heart rate back to normal so he was sent home with some scripts. He was told that he has atrial fibrillation. I guess this is when certain chambers of you heart are not beating normally and causes an irregular heartbeat and may or may not cause the heart to pump less blood effectively and blood might pool in the heart. I heard also that this may cause blood clotting which in turn will cause a stroke. Anywho, the scripts they gave him are amiodarone, which is supposed to control the irregular heatbeat, but has done very little to help. Aspirin was aslo given to him to ward off any blood clotting. He has been home now for one day and nothing has changed. The hear rate is still quite high and he feels unstable on his feet and dizzy. He's going to see a specialist in a few days to see what they can find but I would like to see what others have to say about this. Are they any comments or suggestions?

I just have a comment. You didn't mention your father's age. My stepfather is 90 and had a heart attack in September. I live out of state and am unable to go see him. My mom died three years ago. After the heart attack, he was not expected to live. There was nothing they could do at the hospital so they sent him home. His daughter now lives with him. It was touch and go for weeks, and I kept expecting a call at any time. Well, Christmas Day, I talked to him and he said he went to a movie and then took his scooter and delivered cards to his friends in the mobile home park. After that he rode down the street to

Von's -grocery store. We call him the miracle man. He had colon cancer in his fifties, bypass surgery in his seventies, salivary gland cancer in this seventies. All during this time he was catering to my mom who, bless her soul was a hypochondriac. If we tell him he looks or sounds great, it really does him good. I know he is ready to let go, but he has had such a wonderful outlook on life. I just wanted to share this with all of you.

The 2 herbs you should focus on are cayenne pepper and garlic.

 

You can get ground cayenne pepper from the healthfood store and put a teaspoon or so in water to drink. This will deliver nutrients immediately to the heart. It is the best emergency herb out there and essential for the heart "emergencies". I saved someone's life with just cayenne pepper a few weeks ago. Do this 4-6 times a day for the first few weeks and add this in to his daily regimen.

 

Also fresh raw garlic will help to begin to heal the heart and clean out the arteries. Take 6-10 cloves of fresh, raw organic garlic and peel. Chop up into small pieces and put in a bowl or a cup. Add enough organic olive oil so it coats all the garlic. Then take a spoon and swallow the garlic with lots of water. Do not chew.

 

I would also be giving your father fresh, raw organic fruit and vegetable juices. At least 2 a day. This will give your body the nutrients it needs to heal the heart.

I know this sounds absurd, but it is harmless if it doesn't work

right? In Total Body Modification (one of the healing techniques I

use) we are taught that very briskly rubbing the outer third of the

bilateral eyebrows brings the heart back into rhythm. Try rubbing his

eyebrows vigorously for 20-30 seconds and seeing what happens.
