danger in non-stick cookware

stop cooking with these products . Teflon and a thousand other names

for PTFE coating are serious risks to your health (and certainly your

birds )

I can not believe that even in enviromental and health food circles

some folks do not know that we need to stop using this stuff.My

only " health food " -restraunt is still using teflon.

for some dishes . not in the vegie section but hey ! yes I know meat

is not a health food but i don't eat it .

 

I spoke with them a couple of months ago( some Teflon news was out in

Canada ) and they said they were phasing it out . It ain't happened

yet!

 

here is a great summary of the issue. Please lets talk this up so

that no-one in the health circles are unaware of the danger and that

it is so uncool.Forward this to other listserves so it gets around.
