Guest guest
Jorge-- ....please don't use those poisons on your babies!! ....there are other methods to kill/control fleas---those chemical-laden remedies aren't worth ruining your animals' health......read on--- ....here's a recipe for an ALL NATURAL flea spray that my mom gave me--it's very inexpensive to make and all ingredients are readily available at your local grocery store's produce section...... ....it worked fantastically when we were overrun with those tinky-tiny vampires---killed 'em on contact, with no harmful ingredients..... won't harm your babies, won't harm your carpet, furniture, or even your own skin.... ....i won't ever take our dog in for a dose of that between-the-shoulders stuff ever again (no offense to our vet, because she's just the best, or your son, who's also a vet LOL) ....try this and see if it works a well as it has for us---it can be used on cats as well, altho they'll protest more than dogs will LOL ....also, try it out on the roaches (another critter that's a headache to battle) and let me know if you have any success...... ...well, i'll shut my yap and tell you how to make it--- Good luck with the flea prob..... 3f NATURAL FLEA SPRAY 1) To a quart of water in a pan, put in one thinly sliced lemon and a Tablespoon (i used heaping) of dried Rosemary 2) Bring this to a boil, then take it off the heat, cool and allow to steep overnight 3) Next day, strain into a spray bottle and store in fridge 4) Spray on your animals, carpet, even your own feet/legs when you go into an area infested with fleas---the acidity, from the lemon, will dissolve those fleas' exoshells (or whatever they're called) immediately Jorge Roshkov <jroshkov wrote: Help..... does anyone have a NATURAL remedy for fleas???? Moved into a new home, and found our dogs, who have been fleafree for the past 3 years, now have the little beasties. Do not really want to fill them with a systemic poison - even though could get same from my eldest who is a vet and only too happy to get me some. Also, has anyone had experience with the system that you plug into the wiring of your home, and it aggravates insect pests to such an extent that they leave??? I have a food shop, and the Cockroaches are becoming a nuisance again - do not really want the place sprayed. Have left Borax and cocoa powder baits, but they seem to be thriving!!!!!! Looking at the electrical solution next, as there is a "heap of wiring in them thar walls".... all around the shop!
