Dear Friends and Valued Customers,

Arthritis is one of the most prevalent chronic health problems in

the United States, and the nation’s leading cause of disability

among Americans over age 15, according to the Arthritis Foundation.®

Some 42.7 million people have doctor-diagnosed arthritis and 23.2

million people live with chronic joint symptoms, but have not been

diagnosed by a doctor.

Osteoarthritis is the most common form of arthritis. It’s a

degenerative joint disease in which the cartilage that covers the

ends of bones in the joint deteriorates, causing pain and loss of

movement as bone begins to rub against bone.

Now researchers in the Department of Clinical Biochemistry,

Copenhagen County Hospital in Denmark have found that rose hips may

help. See the study below. In other research, vinegar appears to

lower glucose and insulin responses in certain cases. Read on to

Rose hips lessens osteoarthritis pain

An herbal preparation made from a rare Danish rose hip

subspecies (Rosa canina) may reduce osteoarthritis (OA),

according to the results of a randomized, placebo-controlled,

double-blinded crossover trial involving 94 patients with OA

of the hip or knee.
