Guest guest
I wonder if anyone can help me. I had a breast tumour - low grade with 0 lymph node involvement removed in July - I also had mastectomy and right breast reconstruction. I am 42 years old Obviously I am interested in ways to prevent recurrence of this now, especially nutritionally. I eat spinach most days and blueberries and soya milk, which I have been having regularly. I am a bit worried about the soya milk as I am now reading that it can be detrimental to health - especially if you have previously had breast cancer and that the plant based oestrogens can stimulate tumour cells. I am wondering how all this came about when I have always thought soya was preventitive in this way? Basically want I want to know is am I sitting on a timebomb if I continue with soya milk? How am I supposed to know what is for the best and who to believe? Also could it interact with Tamoxifen which I have to take for five years? (which I am not sure I am happy about either). Any help gratefully received. Thanks
