I have one of each of these machines, I've used a Durastill for 15 years now, you

can have a 5 or 10 gallon storage tank and it's all automatic.

 

The John Ellis is not automatic.

 

If you want a quart or two at a time use a stainless Steele pressure cooker, very easy to set up.
