For reference...when Ex was being...well how she was/is I found myself more and more Blue and desperate as to life and its meaning. Upon advice, I went to a doctor to be checked out..and HE said take anti-depressants!! He didn’t really care of the cause..that I thought that life sucked..despite that life really sucked back then..the doctors advice? Just take the pill... I did..and all the pain went away...but something else went away as well..my desire to change the inflicting situation. AND THAT got worse...and worse..but I didn’t care!! Yepper the Little "Blue pill" Well my ex and her wanton cheating just progressed ..and her ignoring the home…avoiding the children...Drinking..drugs..ignoring me..got worse And you know what was weird? I couldn't feel bad...Even if I tried. I remember thinking (on purpose) of ripping Kitten and puppy heads off and throwing them in a pile (disgusting to me today)..but at that time.I was amazed at ..no shock..no revulsion. As well… never before as much toyed with the thought of suicide..cause it was "no big deal". “Life sucks..why stay..what difference does it make..seems OK!” And that was shocking.. So what Monk? AntiDepressants.. Columbine Killings, .Redlake, New Orleans school shooting...Grannie shot ..and the common coincidence?.... antidepressants.. Sure seems to make a lot more sense to recommend the use of simple therapies which are far more effective and virtually non-toxic. Now, what would those be? Many bottled waters as well have these toxins from a sneaky source. Many “ground water sources..are just the aquifer of an area..and all the water in the area..from sewage to herbicides..just leach right into the aquifer! So you may not be safe there either. AND Your skin absorbs toxins from water as well in your bath or shower. You get all the pollutants of tap water..when you bathe ..EVEN IF..you drink the few better bottled waters! Chemical pollutants ..Antibiotics, Mood Drugs..even "the Pill" which many are saying is making Male sperm Counts drop..and over flooding women with estrogen..making them fodder for cancer..is in that Pool water..bath water..and all thing made with that water form manufactured food and cosmetic products. Yes your shampooing you hair ..and that leisurely bath may be floating you in a toxic soup of incalculable dimensions! The flood of Antidepressants being found in water is as bad a flouride...which just keeps being added ..while it never goes away...(but that is another story!) But back to the Doctor.. I told him..No more..and I had some very fitful months...but I handled it..and some days were "bad" many were better..but the Highs and lows of living returned.. And I talked to people..and I got better..Even engaged in Rational Emotive therapy…and challenged where my beliefs came from… Ever wonder where you get your beliefs from? Especially those you have had for a long time? Ready to change acting like you were when you were a child and made those decisions? And sooo many believe in Doctors.. and Antidepessants.. Miracle cure? Most of those involved in school shootings were people who took antidepressants. Anti depressants have been shown to cause suicidal tendencies and violence. A Feb 21, 2005 article of the Washington Post stated, “Adults taking popular antidepressants such as Prozac, Paxil and Zoloft are more than twice as likely to attempt suicide as patients given placebos, according to an analysis of hundreds of clinical trials involving tens of thousands of patients.” (2) There is defeantly a correlation. It has gotten to the point the FDA issued a public health advisory about the use of antidepressants. The advisory stated that new warning labels for these drugs need to, “alert health care providers to an increased risk of suicidality (suicidal thinking and behavior) in children and adolescents being treated with these agents”.(3) What types of drugs? Well, all antidepressants, but the ones that have come under the most fire are SSRI’s. SSRI’s, or selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors include fluoxetine (Prozac), sertraline (Zoloft), fluvoxamine (Luvox), paroxetine (Paxil), and citalopram (Celexa).(4) These drugs have been studied for a possible corilation for suicide, and a correlation is defenatly there. “Overall, the study noted a significant increase (more than twofold) in the odds of suicide attempts for patients receiving SSRIs compared with placebo or therapeutic interventions other than tricyclic antidepressants - another class of drugs”(5) The truth is that SSRI’s especially are very dangerous.
