Guest guest
Hey you guys, I wonder why we aren't cleaning that water being pumped out? I wonder why the EPA is so quiet now about this. I mean, how hard can it be to bombard the water being pumped out with an ultraviolet wave/frequency that can kill the e-coli, and use replaceable filters to get all those gasoline and other chemicals out before it returns to nature. This process is not talked about by anyone, and I suspect this is because everyone thinks it would be too time consuming and hard to do at this point. To this limiting thought I say, are you lazy? There are water companies that have this equipment and can teach or build the systems to do the processing within days. But who cares, the EPA must think, the larger environment can handle by dilution the toxic soup. I would not pump one drop of contaminated water out of New Orleans till these measures were in place, would you? It is unconscionable to introduce the toxic soup back into the lake to the north.
