Guest guest
The basis of the electric feeling is stimulus to a nerve. The most common example is what almost all of us have experienced - when we strike our elbow at a critical site and we get a funny electric feeling run down the arm (hence the upper arm bone is called the humorous or funny bone). As an extension of this any stimulus to the nerve can cause this feeling.
