Guest guest
Don't know if I brought this up on the list before but in addition the MCS, many people with chemcial sensitivies also have noise sensitivies which I strongly believe are caused by pesticides, heavy metals and toxins. But noise sensitivity also has a medical term(actually a bunch) but ENT's don't know anything (they really do but that what they say). If you have a strong sensitivity to noise it's called hyperacusis (www.hyperausis.net), and if you have that AND have a hearing loss its' called recruitment, but ENT's and audiologists don't tell you anything. Believe me I now from first hand experience. But simple white noise machines help, ENT's would never ever ever tell you this - I found out by accident. But noise sensitivies are also linked to ES, Environmental Sensitivies (which is also linked to MCS). Electrical Energy Fields go one way, while the body energy goes the other way!! But this is a good site about ES: http://www.ctaz.com/~bhima/emf.htm The best Electrolyte Balance Drink is Filtered Water with Celtic Salt and a rind of lemon!, you will love it! - you really have to taste it! Guest guest
I have used a white noise machine at night for many years. I have insomnia at times and this is the best way for me to sleep. Another alternative to the white noise machine is an old box fan as they are usually somewhat loud. Great for those of us who sleep too lightly. lynn --- Janice Ashby <oneplanet4life wrote: > > But simple white noise machines help, ENT's would > never ever ever tell you this - I found out by > accident. Guest guest
Hi, Janice--- .....i didn't know this......but now i do, thanks for sharing :-) .....i like to drink my water with either a slice of lemon or lime in it, but never tried it with a bit of Celtic salt.....it's like making your own "Gatorade," huh? :-) .....i've tried for months to get Celtic Salt, but neither one of the health food stores here can get it---something about their distributors not carrying it or something, so, i've looked on eBay, to find a good, affordable source......here is the link, if anyone else is having trouble finding it locally--- http://stores.ebay.com/EarthLinksNutritionInc_W0QQssPageNameZviQ3asibQ3astoreviewQQtZkm a Whimsical Wednesday-- 3f Janice Ashby <oneplanet4life wrote:The best Electrolyte Balance Drink is Filtered Waterwith Celtic Salt and a rind of lemon!, you will loveit! - you really have to taste it!Janice.________ Find your next car at http://autos..ca
Guest guest
My daughter also had electromagnetic sensitivity (when she was dealing with MCS). I remember when she first went to an environmental medicine doctor, when I talked about the fact that she drains batteries (watches never have lasted long with her), he took her into a shielded room, and when he shut the door she felt almost panicked...she said that for a few seconds she didn't know what the reason was, then she realized that there was a pressure in her head and had dissappeared - a low-grade headache that she always had. I don't remember her ever saying anything about noise sensitivity, though. I'm just glad all her allergies and the MCS are now in the distant past (nearly three years since she's had any allergies).
