Before getting involved in the shop and some 14 hrs per day, 7 days a week, we used the following recipe for our two dogs

Blending a mixture of Celery, Carrots, Capsicums, Garlic, Cabbage, and any other vegies which we had on hand, with chicken mince from the butcher .. (chicken carcases minced), and we froze this mixture in useable sized containers which we then defrosted for daily use.

We used a "Kitchen Whizz" to chop all together.

They seemed to do quite well on this.

Now, it is leftovers from the shop (mainly anything leftover from meals - not bread or chips or deep fried foods, and they are stacking on a bit of condition!!!!

Regards

Jorge
